This project is about crafting a simple looking and functioning chair that is easy to produce, can be easily assembled/disassembled, maximizes the properties of plywood and can be somewhat flatpacked. In only 5 elements I take usage of DualLock reclosable fastener as the only connection. This allows me to make surface - to- surface connection without the usage of glue. The thin plywood seat and backrest serve dual purposes: as comfort carriers and as contributors to structural integrity.

In the future I want to use biobased plywood resin to enhance the sustainability and also laminated legs instead of solid wood. This would allow me to simplify the production process and also make the legs thinner.
